With bright colors and soft details, these landscapes are a reminiscence of the countryside I grew up in and still cherish. The raw chalk pastel works are paired with crisp repetitions of pattern rendered in watercolor. Both work together to express the remembered scenery and feelings of nostalgia from recalling my childhood.

This original artwork includes a hand-painted watercolor pattern design on cold-press paper with a pastel farmscape on unprimed cotton canvas overlay. The work is 6x8” and is matted to 5x7” in a pale gold aluminum frame measuring 11.3x14.4”. The piece is signed on the back and a certificate of authenticity is included.

*Much of my work involves layering of multiple elements to form one unified piece. In the work, the cotton canvas overlay is attached with tacky in order to protect both pieces from damage that would occur with glue or other adhesive mediums. The buyer should be aware that if the piece is removed from the frame, there is a chance the two pieces will separate. However, they may be easily re-attached using the tacky or any preferred method. Thank you for understanding that the separated nature of the piece does not reflect it’s quality - only a desire to prevent damage and provide flexibility for alternate framing/display options.
